This compact wick extinguisher is made from solid brass with a matt gold finish. Measuring approximately 3 1/4" (8 cm) in length, it is designed to extinguish candle flames cleanly and efficiently by gently pinching out the flame rather than blowing it out. This method significantly reduces smoke, prevents unpleasant odours, and avoids wax splashes or flying sparks, helping to keep candle surfaces and surrounding areas clean.
Use and Care
The wick extinguisher is intended exclusively for safely extinguishing candle flames. Use only on securely placed candles. Hold the extinguisher steady and apply it gently to the flame to avoid disturbing molten wax. The brass head can become hot during use, so avoid touching it until it has cooled.
Do not expose it to extreme temperatures or aggressive cleaning agents. Clean by hand only, using a soft cloth and mild detergent. Inspect regularly for any signs of damage or loosening, and discontinue use if any defects are found.
