Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 7 days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Please advise if goods have not been received within 21 days from the date of ordering. You will receive another notification when your order has been shipped which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. Despatch can occasionally be delayed, particularly prior to Christmas and Easter, when goods are being made to order, or when popularity depletes stocks of some items. Goods required urgently should be notified at the time of ordering.
Whilst delivery dates are given in good faith, such dates are not guaranteed and we accept no liability for delay in delivery howsoever caused and no delay of 30 days or less from the date of your order shall entitle you to reject any such delivery or any further instalments or part of the order or to repudiate the contract or the order or any part thereof or to claim any damages or compensation in respect of any such delay.
If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@dmhay.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. Any shortage of delivery or faulty goods must be emailed to info@dmhay.co.uk within 7 days of delivery of the goods.
If we fail to deliver the goods for any reason other than any cause beyond our reasonable control or your default, and we are accordingly liable to you, our liability will be limited to the excess (if any) of the cost to you (in the cheapest available market) of similar goods to replace those not delivered over the price of the goods.
Unless stated otherwise (in the notes section of cart or checkout) goods will be left in the safest possible place as close to the main door of the given shipping address as possible, however, this decision is left at the discretion of the delivery agent. Alternatively, you may choose not to receive goods if you are not present when they are delivered. If you choose this option we will try to drop off the goods twice after which they will be returned to our warehouse. Any additional atttempts to deliver the goods will be liable for additional charges.
